The Vision Behind Studio Alba
Founded by Director David Forge, the studio was born from a desire to create spaces that feel intentional, liveable and seamlessly connected to the home.
David began his career in high-end residential landscape design, working alongside award-winning and Chelsea Flower Show medal recipient Ian Barker, as well as Channel 9 personality Dave Franklin. In 2020, he established his own practice, bringing with him a wealth of experience in premium residential design and a reputation for thoughtful, detail-driven outcomes.
At Studio Alba, design always begins with functionality. While aesthetics can be shaped in many ways, a space that doesn’t genuinely support entertaining, relaxation and everyday living isn’t truly well designed. Every project is approached with this philosophy — creating environments that are as practical as they are refined.
Outside of work, David enjoys time with his young family, tending to his own garden and travelling — passions that continue to influence his understanding of how people want to live within their spaces.
