Studio Alba was engaged to design the broader property, creating a cohesive outdoor environment that enhances both the main residence and its long-term potential. The result is Pobblebonk Lodge — an award-winning, eco off-grid retreat in Kinglake that now operates as a high-end Airbnb.
Through considered planning and design, the property has been able to extend beyond a single residence, unlocking an additional income-generating asset without compromising the integrity of the site. This project demonstrates how the right design approach can create not only a beautiful outcome, but a smarter, more valuable investment.
